Outreach Pastor

My wife JoAnn and I have two children, ten grand children and four great-grand children. In October of 1966, at the age of 17, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior. Through out the years I have been blessed to serve the Lord in many capacities as Sunday School Superintendent and as a Sunday School teacher to several different age groups. In December 1973, Brushfork Baptist Church ordained me as a Deacon. In 2001 the Lord called me to preach and in September 2009, East End Baptist Church Ordained me as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since that time I have served as Outreach Minister here at East End. On January 15, 2010 I was called to be Interim Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church of Bluefield. I was blessed to serve at Calvary for 13 months. I am now back serving as both a deacon and Outreach Minister here at East End. This position allows me to serve as Supply Minister to other churches that have pulpit needs. And what a joy it is to serve the Lord in a church that encourages us reach out and help other Christians in their time of need!
